On the set of Let’s Make A Deal, Passion Growers brightens up kitchens, bedrooms, workspaces, living rooms and of course, the winning audience member’s day! Over the last two seasons, Passion Growers’ Roses have added beauty and elegance to both the sets and giveaways of Let’s Make A Deal.
Throughout the year, Passion Growers’ Roses dress the set to add a personal touch to each themed room. Passion Growers’ Roses are also gifted throughout the year to individual contestants who receive “Roses For A Year” to decorate their own homes. You know Passion Growers is about to be won when the announcer calls out: “You’ll be lavished with two dozen elegant roses delivered to your door every month for a year from Passion Growers!”
This last May, Passion Growers was handpicked to be the themed audience gift of Mother’s Day, with everyone in the studio receiving a beautiful bouquet, and a few lucky ladies receiving a year’s supply of Passion Growers’ Roses!
During the giveaway, the announcer states, “Fresh roses for a year. Brighten your home with two dozen elegant roses from Passion Growers, delivered to your door every month, for a year!”
Wayne Brady then says, “You’re getting flowers, you’re getting flowers, you all are getting flowers!”
Followed by the announcer who continues with, “In honor of Mother’s Day, everyone in our audience has been given their own special rose.” Wayne Brady also raced into the audience to personally give three women who had lost the game Passion Growers’ Roses.

Passion Growers’ Roses were chosen by NBC’s Animal Practice and featured weekly in Dorothy Crane’s (Joanna Garcia Swisher) office! Production even posted a photo of a Passion Growers bouquet and branded ribbon on the break room bulletin board – a token reminder from a past love for one of the characters!
Animal Practice revolves around Dr. George Coleman (Justin Kirk), a top veterinarian with an impressive list of famous animal patients at the Crane Animal Hospital – a bustling New York City veterinary practice where it often seems as if the patients are running the place. Despite his unorthodox style, George has an undeniable gift with animals of all kinds – except the human kind.
On October 24, 2012, Passion Growers received two confirmed placements during the 6th episode, “The Two George Colemans”. Pink Passion Growers’ roses were displayed on a desk when Dorothy searches the office for a possible threat and yellow Passion Growers’ roses were featured in a scene when Dr. Yamamoto (Bobby Lee) attempts to frighten Dorothy. The two different arrangements reflect how Passion Growers offer tranquility even in a fast paced office setting!

NEWPORT BEACH, California — Breast cancer survivors along with family, friends and community members gathered to celebrate life and a future hope for breast cancer research at the 21st annual Susan G. Komen Orange County Race for the Cure in Newport Beach on Sunday. Over 20,000 runners kicked off the 5K run/walk at Fashion Island as early as 7:15 a.m. One-thousand of those registered participants were breast cancer survivors. Female survivors sported pink T-shirt and hats, while male survivors wore gray.
Komen’s goal was to raise $3 million at this year’s event. According to the Orange County Race for the Cure website, over 22,000 participants raised $3 million for the event in 2011. That effort turned the race into the largest event of its kind in Orange County. Of that money, 75 percent stays in Orange County for breast cancer screening and education, while the remainder goes toward breast cancer research.
Marie La Fargue, a three-time breast cancer survivor, was named the 2012 Most Influential Survivor at addressed a crowd of survivors at the race. “I’m here to show inspiration and hope to all the women here because I’m here after three separate and distinct breast cancers and 19 years of survivorship,” said La Fargue. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1993 and believes in early detection. Statistics show one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Passion Growers donated a pink rose to every survivor that attended the event.
