Friday, December 20th, 2019

MIAMI, FL (December 20, 2019) – For the tenth consecutive year, the Miss America Organization has continued its relationship with PassionRoses to provide the stunning roses presented to the newly crowned Miss America and court of top finalists. The classic American competition continued its decade-long tradition of proudly naming PassionRoses as the Official Rose of the 2020 Miss America Competition, as they awarded Camille Schrier, formerly Miss Virginia, the crown on December 19, 2019.

“PassionRoses is delighted to continue our decade long partnership with the Miss America Competition” says PassionRoses founder Jaime Peisach. “It is a true honor to continue our partnership this year, alongside so many women who have worked incredibly hard to be part of this competition and who exemplify the best of America. We support and value our partnership with the Miss America Organization, as their programs and goals closely reflect our own values and efforts in emphasizing and promoting the importance of education for women. We look forward to the continuing evolution of Miss America and our partnership.”
The 2020 Miss America Competition, aired Thursday, December 19, 2019, live on NBC from Mohegan Sun Arena, in Montville, Connecticut. The finalists each received long stem PassionRoses bouquets, and Miss America 2020 was given a large bouquet of two dozen long stem PassionRoses.

“We are so proud to move into our tenth year with PassionRoses,” remarked Regina Hopper, President and CEO of The Miss America Organization. “Presenting the newly-crowned Miss America and our top finalists with PassionRoses has become a Miss America tradition. We truly value this partnership and are grateful for the support of our mission to prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women.”

Each of the unique crowning ceremony bouquets were made with PassionRoses, grown in the savannah of Bogotá, Colombia and hand-picked exclusively for Miss America. In addition to the rose bouquets that were presented to the winner and her court during the competition, PassionRoses were also featured prominently at events throughout the 2020 Miss America Competition week, including the official post-ceremony press conference, the Miss America Anniversary Celebration Breakfast, exclusive VIP parties, and judge’s hospitality and interview rooms.
