PassionRoses Appointed the Official Rose of the 2018 Miss America Competition for 8th Year

Monday, September 11th, 2017

MIAMI, FL (September 11, 2017) – For the eighth year in a row, the Miss America Organization again turned to PassionRoses to provide the perfect red roses for the newly crowned Miss America Cara Mund, and her court.   PassionRoses is proud to partner with the Miss America Organization and to have again been chosen to be the Official Rose for the 2018 Miss America Competition.

The finale, hosted by Chris Harrison and Sage Steele, featured the finalists each receiving a long stem bouquet, and the newly crowned Miss America a bouquet of 3 dozen long stem roses. The 2018 Miss America Competition was broadcast live from the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall on Sunday, September 10, 2017 on ABC.

Each of the special long stem pageant bouquets were made with red PassionRoses grown in the savannah of Bogotá, Colombia and hand-picked specifically for Miss America.  The roses were featured prominently during the 2018 Miss America Competition by the newly appointed Miss America 2018 and her Court of Honor, both on-air during the crowning ceremony as well as at the off-air press conference. PassionRoses were additionally included in the rose adorned scepter held by Cara Mund, and showcased in the Miss America press room, dinner events, judges’ hospitality and interview rooms, and other events leading up to the event finale.

The partnership will continue with Cara Mund, the newly crowned Miss America, making an event appearance on PassionRoses’ behalf at the Produce Marketing Association in New Orleans in October 2017.

“Continuing our partnership with the Miss America Competition is an incredible opportunity for PassionRoses,” says PassionRoses founder Jaime Peisach. “Participating with an organization that so closely reflects our own values and the importance of education is a true honor as well as an amazing experience. We are proud to be a part of the Competition and look forward to continuing to grow and expand the Miss America partnership in the future through our retail partners.”

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue the partnership with PassionRoses as the Official Rose of the Miss America Competition. For the eighth year of the tradition, Miss America 2018 and her Court of Honor were presented with PassionRoses live on ABC,” stated Josh Randle, President & COO of the Miss America Organization.
